Grant deadline: Friday, November 4, 2016
GrowNYC, NYC Department of Education and NYC Park’s GreenThumb Division are happy to announce that the Fall 2016 cycle of the Grow to Learn Mini Grant opens on Monday. Grow to Learn accepts applications for Mini-Grantsof $500 to $2,000 to start or expand a learning garden program at NYC public and charter schools. To apply, schools must register their garden or update their garden registration with Grow to Learn. As part of the registration or re-registration process, schools must submit a recent garden map, a signed principal letter of support, and the names and contact information of the active garden committee members. Once your garden information is updated, you can access the mini-grant application, which will be publicly available on Monday, September 26th, 2016. Not sure what makes a strong grant application or how to design your garden? Register for a Grant Writing and Garden Design workshop and GTL staff will happily answer your questions.
