Apply for Computer Science for All: Software Engineering Programs – Application Period Open

               For NYC Public Middle Schools & High Schools/Deadline February 22

The Software Engineering Program (SEP), the flagship program in the mayor’s Computer Science for All  initiative, is accepting applications for their next cohort. SEP is a comprehensive, standards-aligned computer science and software engineering education program for grades 6 to 12. NYC public middle schools & high schools School staff are invited to register for a webinar on either Jan 26 or Feb 3.

Applications for SEP are due by 5PM on Feb 22.

Applications open for AP Computer Science Principles: Beauty and Joy of Computing. All NYC High Schools Welcome to Apply!

The Advanced Placement Computer Science (AP CS) Principles course {http://sepnyc.org/apcs-2/} is accepting applications for their next cohort of teachers. This course, modeled after the University of California, Berkeley’s undergraduate course Beauty and Joy of Computing (BJC), trains teachers to prepare students to take the Advanced Placement Computer Science principles exam as early as May 2017. Interested teachers are invited to register for either Jan 27 or Feb 2 webinar.

Applications for the AP CS course (also known as BJC) are due February 22nd.
