Registration for Summer Math & Summer Science Institutes

The NYCDOE is offering a three-day K–12 Summer Mathematics Institute for teachers who are interested exploring the progression of content through the examination of tasks, curriculum, and/or video, while considering the impact of instructional decisions on the learning of mathematics. Teachers who participate in this institute will have opportunities to build a shared understanding of the learning progressions in the CCLS-M and identify how the understanding of these progressions can help them adjust features of tasks to support learning of all students. The Summer Mathematics Institute will take place at Stuyvesant High School from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. on July 21-23. Note that teachers who participate will be paid at the per session rate for a total of 15 hours upon completion of this three-day institute. For more information and to register, click here.

Teachers who participate in this institute will have opportunities to learn curriculum writing through the lens of the new Science Scope & Sequence. The Summer Science Institute will take place at Stuyvesant High School from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. on July 21-23. Note that teachers who participate will be paid at the per session rate for a total of 15 hours upon completion of this three-day institute.
