DEPARTMENT OF CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION: ALTERNATE ASSESSMENT
The District collaborated with a core group of school-based pedagogues to devise a protocol for how teachers and teacher teams might work to enhance and/or revise the Alternate Assessment Curricula Framework disseminated in SY13-14. Additionally, the team this summer designed several rubric models, one specific to skill level D and several others for skill levels C and B.
The hyperlink below is the latest warehouse of all the module work to date. (Module 4 will be completed shortly.)

It is critical that these are reviewed before re-engaging with the modules. They offer strong considerations for how to revise a module and design performance task-specific rubrics with a congruent understanding of a ladder of prompting that leads to a coherent way for evaluating student performance tasks across classrooms.
